Victoria is a writer & director from New York with a BFA in Filmmaking from the Film Conservatory at SUNY Purchase College. Victoria has written and directed numerous short films which have screened at festivals nationwide, most recently screening at Austin Film Festival in 2021.
Notably, her short film WINTER RYE won the Grand Prize at Cornell University's inaugural Centrally Isolated Film Festival, selected by a jury of industry alumni such as Academy Award nominated editor Tim Squyres and director Will Gluck ("Easy A" and "Anyone But You") . WINTER RYE also won Best Short Period Piece at The Garden State Film Festival and went on to air multiple times on PBS-KVCR in their Shorts Showcase. Victoria's industry experience includes shadowing writer/director, Gideon Raff (creator of HOMELAND) on his series THE SPY (Netflix), NOW&THEN (AppleTV+), and feature film THE RED SEA DIVING RESORT. Victoria also worked in post-production on Showtime Network’s BILLIONS. Most recently, Victoria wrote and directed THE AUDITION, a short film commissioned by Nikon for the commercial campaign for their new Nikon z6iii camera. |
As a writer, Victoria's screenplays have garnered attention from: Sundance Episodic Lab, Austin Film Festival, The New York TV Festival, Cinequest, HollyShorts, BluCat Screenplay Competition, Screencraft, Launch Pad Pilot Competition, Script Pipeline, HRTS, The Sun Valley Film Festival, The Golden Script Competition, Stowe Story Labs, Big Apple Film Festival, Emerging Screenwriters Competition, and Outstanding Screenplays TV Competition. Her live pitch for her series "En Tournant" won Lee Daniel's Pitch Please Contest hosted by Ghetto Film School at IFP Week (now Gotham Week).
